Basilisk Coiled Over the Mineral Springs

A crested lizard-serpent coils across a tiled spa of mineral pools, its head raised on the left with an amber eye and a purple fin. Teal scales shade into a cream and orange throat, and a coral spined ridge runs down its back. Workers on scaffolds tend a striped stall set on its back, and others stand at its hip. Pink trumpet fungi, yellow flowers and purple crystals grow from the body. Bathers soak in rounded pools of blue, violet and green, one floats on a raft, and lily pads drift on the water. Striped market awnings sell goods at the corners, and wooden bridges cross between the baths. The scale pattern and winding pools give a lot of distinct curved shapes.
