Behind the Scenes of a Film Set

A film crew works around a fake stone castle propped beside a green screen, its knight in armor standing guard over a treasure chest where a cat naps among the coins. A folding table nearby holds coffee, doughnuts and snack boxes for the cast, while a runner sweeps a puddle off the floor. Racks of cameras, lenses and clapperboards sit ready near a rolling light stand, and coiled cables snake across the floor to a bank of monitors and a mixing desk staffed by a headset-wearing operator. Overhead, a crew on a scaffold catwalk adjusts a wall of stage lights. Off to the side, crates of prop swords and stacked cardboard boxes wait to be unpacked, and a dog dozes in a burlap sack near a discarded boulder prop.
