Canyon Village of Bridges and Waterfalls

Adobe houses in shades of tan and rust stack up the walls of a deep red canyon, their flat roofs and terraces climbing toward towers at the top. Two stone arch bridges cross the river far below, linking the near cliffside to the settlement built into the far wall. Multiple waterfalls pour from the canyon rim on the right, splashing into a turquoise pool beside a cluster of homes. Woven rugs and striped textiles hang from balconies and rooftops, adding blocks of red, blue and orange to the tan stone. Terraced gardens planted with lavender, cactus and small trees soften the ledges between buildings, and a winding staircase carved into the rock connects the upper and lower town. Sheer canyon walls rise under a blue sky scattered with clouds. Each terrace and rooftop keeps its own bright color, marking a path a wanderer could trace from bridge to bridge.
