Celestial Pentagon Tessellation

Irregular pentagon and hexagon shapes tile the whole surface like a stained-glass window, each cell outlined in a heavy gold line and filled with its own miniature celestial scene. Suns with radiating gold points, crescent moons, and scattered stars appear again and again across the tiles, alongside a few cells that hold only fine constellation dots or a sprig of leaves in gold outline. The color palette rotates through deep navy, teal, burgundy, forest green, and burnt orange, so that a warm tile always sits beside a cool one. Many cells carry banded borders of dotted or striped trim just inside their edges, echoing the look of embroidered fabric rather than glass. No single tile is large enough to read as a place, and no shape repeats its neighbor's exact pattern, which keeps the eye moving steadily across the whole tessellation rather than settling on one spot.
