Dried Seed Pods and Autumn Blooms

Dried poppy seed pods with their scalloped caps stand among spiky purple thistles, coneflowers with drooping orange petals, and papery white lunaria discs showing the seeds pressed inside. Clusters of small red berries and dusky rose hydrangea blossoms fill the gaps between taller stems, while round allium seed heads add starburst texture in lavender and cream. Golden wheat-like grasses cross the composition at diagonal angles, their bristled heads catching a warm autumn light. Fluffy cream seed heads, somewhere between a dandelion and thistle down, cluster to one side, echoing the pale lunaria pods nearby.
