A garden built from clockwork. Cog-centred flowers stand as tall as trees, red, blue and yellow, their leaves and stems ribbed in brass, and gears turn in the trunks and branches around them. Cobbled paths signed Tinker's Path wind past a fountain whose water spills over a wheel, a domed gazebo with a glass globe, and benches with wheeled armrests and patterned cushions. A sign reads Gearblossom Gardens. Lamps with coloured panes line the walks, a mechanical ladybird and a small brass mouse cross the stones, and a clockwork bird lands near the water. Behind it all a palace of domes and arched glass carries its own clock face and telescope. At the right a visitor kneels to a flower with a tool. Petals, brass work and green lawn hold three clean, separable colour families.
