Healers Tending Dragons and Griffins

Hooded healers move through a stone infirmary built for magical creatures. In one corner, a griffin holds still while its wing is wrapped in bandages, feathers scattering across the floor as an assistant sweeps them up. Wooden shelves hold nests cradling baby dragons and jars of glowing potions in green, purple and amber; one healer grinds herbs in a bowl while another tends a bubbling planter of glowing greenery. At a forge, a smith hammers a horseshoe onto a dragon's claw beside roaring flames, while nearby a small dragon breathes fire at a bandaged block of ice. Toward the front, cloaked students sit in rows on a patterned rug, reading scrolls and books, with a black cat weaving between their feet and a great scaled dragon curled asleep in a woven nest above. Every alcove here tends its own small patient, so the crowd sorts itself into workable pieces.
