Heap of Bolts, Hooks, and Brackets

Hardware of every kind covers the frame with no gaps between one piece and the next. Long bolts with threaded shafts cross over S-hooks, snap hooks, and curved carabiners in green, blue, pink, and red. Flat brackets and angle plates in orange, teal, and gray sit among round washers, hex nuts, and eye bolts, some hollow and some threaded through with a second piece. A few springs coil between the flatter parts, and a scattering of pipe fittings and turnbuckles add their own shapes to the mix. The palette leans toward muted primary colors, mustard yellow, steel gray, brick red, and sage green, all outlined in heavy black so each piece stays distinct from its neighbors. Nothing lies flat or aligned; every bolt, hook, and bracket points a different direction, packed together like the bottom drawer of a well used toolbox.
