Kintsugi Restoration Workshop Shelves

A pottery restoration studio holds rows of bowls and vases mended with kintsugi, their cracks traced in shining gold against blue, orange and green glazes. Wooden shelves along the left wall rise to the ceiling, packed with repaired vessels lit by sunlight through paper-paned windows. Two work tables stand ready for the next repairs, each fitted with an adjustable lamp, small jars of lacquer and gold powder, brushes and a scattering of unfinished shards on protective mats.
