Mangosteen Resting in a Woven Basket Orchard

A single mangosteen the size of a hill sits in a braided basket ring at the middle of a tropical orchard. Its purple rind is streaked with coral and blue, one side is cut open to show white segments, and green leafy sepals crown the top beside a thick stem and clusters of yellow trumpet flowers. Workers climb ladders against the rind, lift a segment down, and carry a wooden crate. Others sort fruit into pink crates at a small table. A curved stream with floating leaves circles the base, and market stalls with blue roofs, potted saplings, and fruit baskets line an orange path through the forest. The ring of basket, stream, and path gives the picture natural edges to follow.
