Mechanics Restoring A Steam Locomotive

A dark blue steam locomotive named The Titan sits under repair inside a brick and timber depot marked Steam Repair Depot and Workshop 4. On top, a mechanic polishes the brass bell, while below, workers in overalls oil the driving wheels, tighten couplings and wipe down the boiler with rags. Two men climb ladders beside the tender, stacking coal marked G.W.R., and another files a part at a workbench fitted with a vise. Arched windows let daylight fall across the tracks, where wrenches, oil cans, gears and toolboxes lie scattered on the floor. A second, older locomotive waits in the shadows behind, and a gantry crane and overhead walkway span the space above. Every loosened bolt and wiped gauge brings the great engine closer to running again.
