Patchwork Tortoise Plodding Over the Pebbles

A tortoise with a freckled blue and rust head and thick scaly legs plods across a bed of grey pebbles. Its shell is a patchwork of plates in yellow, blue, purple, red and cream, decorated with stars, leaves, suns and spirals. A farm village sits on top: thatched cottages with smoking chimneys, a windmill, a well, an apple orchard, rows of vegetables, hens and a shepherd with sheep. A rope bridge runs from the shell to a small tower, and two ladders lean on the side. Under the chin, two children sit on a swing. Red toadstools, blue ferns, violets, blackberries, pine cones, snails, autumn leaves and lichen-covered rocks fill the ground. The shell's plates are each a different pattern, which makes the pieces easy to read.
