A red panda rests along a thick striped bamboo stem, its white-marked face turned to the left and its long tail with cream and gold rings curled below. The fur is rust red with a fringe of violet at the paws. Tiny people tend a garden of bamboo shoots on its back, push a barrow across a plank bridge under its belly and set up a cart stall on its foreleg, while two more sit near its ear. Flowers and blue mushrooms grow in the fur. Around it, rope bridges, wooden huts and platforms are tied among tall bamboo in orange, blue and green, with bunches of leaves in autumn colours. Hanging sacks and baskets swing from the poles. The tail's rings and the bridge planks give the pieces plenty of clear stripes to follow.
