A huge samovar stands on a round pink tray in a cobbled square. Its body is painted orange and teal with purple flowers and little birds, and a green and gold handle curves out on each side, with a lilac tap at the front. The shoulder holds a small village of stilt houses, a gazebo with a red roof, a wooden watchtower and a pot of lavender topped by a tiny teapot. A footbridge leads into the side, and a market stall sits at the base. Around it stand round domed cisterns with tiled roofs in green, red, yellow, blue and purple, each with a glowing fire door and a small water wheel, linked by brass and violet pipes. Vendors push carts of tea chests, and herb beds fill the corners. The scattered colored domes give a regular rhythm of landmarks.
