Steampunk Clocktower City

A colossal clock tower stands at the center of a steampunk city, its brass gears and stained-glass panels rising into spires topped with a bell. Roman numerals ring the clock face, surrounded by exposed cogs turning behind the glass. Airships and a hot air balloon drift through a cloud-streaked sky, passing between towers built from copper pipe and teal-domed roofs. Wooden bridges and spiral staircases loop down from the clocktower's base, connecting workshops signed with gear emblems and shelves of tools on the right. Giant gears mounted on the left buildings turn like machinery, and a fountain bubbles below the tower in a courtyard of oversized mechanical flowers in purple, orange and blue. Pale spires of a distant taller city rise through smoke and haze. Every bridge and stairway threads a different path down through the gearwork, giving the eye distinct routes to trace from the sky to the ground.
