Torn Scraps of Marbled Paper

Torn pieces of marbled paper overlap edge to edge, each fragment showing its own swirl of color and pattern. Feathered peacock-eye designs in red, teal, and gold sit beside spotted patterns in blue and green, wavy combed lines in orange and turquoise, and looping spirals in rust and cream. The torn edges are ragged and irregular, some pieces triangular, others long slivers, all outlined in a pale cream border where the paper has ripped. No two scraps share the same marbling pattern, though the palette stays consistent: jewel-bright reds, blues, teals, and golds throughout. Some fragments show tight cellular bubbles, others broad feathered strokes, and a few plain swirling waves. The layered scraps overlap so thoroughly that only slivers of the pieces beneath show through the gaps. Each torn edge and shift in pattern gives the eye a natural line to trace from one scrap to the next.
