Underground Botanical Seed Archive

A vast underground vault opens through a circular steel door lined with rows of seed jars, its wheel handle turned mid-swing. Around a fenced garden bed at the center, crystal formations and coral-like plants rise beside a spiraled green tree trunk, while researchers in lab coats sketch specimens at scattered desks. Glass terrariums stacked along the walls hold pink coral, cactus points, and clustered gemstones, each tagged and catalogued in wooden filing cabinets with dozens of drawers. A greenhouse of leafy plants sits to one side, ladders lean against tall cupboards, and colored pipes run along the ceiling toward a lower level of storage crates and rail track.
