Whale with a Village on Its Back

A whale patterned in cream, coral and blue swirls glides through a sea thick with kelp, shells and flowers. On its back sits a seaside village: a red and white lighthouse, cottages with red and yellow roofs, a striped market awning, a vegetable plot, goats and a laundry line. A child flies a kite near the tail, a fisherman sits on a tail fluke, and another fishes from the flipper. Seagulls perch on the barnacles, and rope ladders hang down the whale's side. Small coral islands float nearby with starfish, a nest of eggs, and clusters of yellow and purple flowers. The soft blue water and bright garden borders frame the whale clearly, and the swirl bands break its body into natural pieces.
