Wooden Thread Spools in Every Color

Wooden cotton reels are piled at every possible angle, their thread wound tight in colors that cover the full spectrum: crimson, teal, mustard, lavender, forest green, and slate blue among dozens more. Each spool's wood grain and turned rim are drawn with the same warm honey tone, so the reels themselves blend together while the thread wrapped around them provides the real variety. A few end caps carry decorative carved patterns, scalloped edges, or small painted designs, standing out from the plainer reels beside them. Spools lie both upright and on their sides, some stacked directly on top of others, creating a jumble with almost no visible gaps. The muted brown background barely shows through the cracks between reels. With so many spools sharing an identical shape, the eye has to rely on subtle differences in thread color and end-cap pattern to work through the pile.
