Inside a steampunk workshop, a crew manufactures weather by hand. Two smiths in leather aprons and welding helmets hammer white-hot lightning bolts on iron anvils, sparks flying between them. A boy tapes a leaking icicle pipe while another cranks a valve on a blue drum, and a woman mops up a spill near a stack of crates stamped with storm clouds. To the right, glass jars packed with swirling tornadoes, puffy clouds, and falling snow ride a conveyor belt toward a shelf where a customer sets them in rows. A terrier darts through a giant fan tunnel, chased by a boy in a striped coat. In the foreground, a man in a matching coat lowers a jagged bolt into a corked jar with pliers. Each bench here turns out its own kind of weather, so the busy floor already sorts itself into distinct little jobs.
